"Your goal is my number one goal!"
I’m Sonny Brown and I help people buy, sell and invest in property in the West Ashley, James Island and the Johns Island, N. Charleston, South Carolina areas
By studing and obtaining my Broker License and the following designations, ABR, GRI, and the SRES help me to be able to help buyers and sellers purchase and sell homes (at prices to their advantage)in the West Ashley, James Island, Johns Island, N. Charleston, SC area is my specialty. Having lived here for many years I don’t think you can find anyone who is more knowledgeable in the area and who is more willing to help you sell your present home or assist you in the purchase of your next home.
I was first licensed in the early sixties. In the seventies I earned my G.R.I. Designation (The Graduate Realtor Institute requires the completion of TEN COURSES of all areas of Real Estate and Finance) I later earned the S.R.E.S Designation (The Senior Real Estate Specialist deals with concerns and finance of Mature Buyers and Sellers) and the A.B.R. Designation (The Accredited Buyers Representative deals with the Protection of the Buyers) in 2008.
I have had experience in the new construction field and was Broker manager for several years overseeing the sales production. I also was an onsite agent for two condo projects on Folly Beach.

From the beach I looked across to Fort Sumter as sailing vessels of every kind passed by. On the back side of the island, there was plenty of shrimping and oystering along the pluff mud river banks.
I attended Murray Vocational school in Charleston and Moultrie High in Mt. Pleasant. I served in the US Army Security Agency overseas and was honorably discharged. When I returned to Charleston I married a Charleston girl and had 2 children. The elder owns and operates the Goose Creek Veterinary Clinic. The other works in protecting the “Gibbons” monkeys.
I lived on Sullivan’s Island until Hurricane Hugo “mo
